On December 13, 2016, I lost my leg due to a surgical complication. I went to Dr. Kabbani at Henry Ford hospital for my amputation.
Shortly after my amputation I was visited in the hospital by Scott Baranek. He told me all the things I did not want to hear but also all the things I needed to hear. The entire team at Bremer Prosthetics has been there to guide me through my transition back to a functional level.
Although I am at the “first steps” of recovery, I am confident that Bremer Prosthetics will assist me now and in the future. They are always there and willing to help. I am looking forward to returning to golf, dancing, and various outdoor activities.
