This year marks a powerful first for the HAP Crim Festival of Races—the creation of an Amputee Training Group, co-led by Bremer Prosthetics and Primary Prevention Physiotherapy.
Every week, a determined group of amputees meets to train together, support each other, and prepare for race day. They’re not just logging miles—they’re proving that movement and health are for everyone, no matter the challenges life brings.
For amputee and co-owner of Bremer Prosthetics—like Scott Baranek, training means more than building endurance. It’s about reclaiming strength, staying active, and finding community with others who understand the unique journey of life with a prosthesis. Each stride is fueled by shared stories, mutual encouragement, and the belief that movement heals—physically and emotionally.
Bremer Prosthetics is proud to be part of this milestone, helping athletes get the most out of their prosthetic technology and reach their goals. Because every step forward—no matter the pace—is a victory worth celebrating.
Race day is coming. This group will be ready.
